On March 30, 2023, the day had finally arrived. I was able to visit the wastewater treatment plant in Rüti in the Zurich Oberland region. Thanks to my connection with my employer (Rüti municipality), it was relatively easy to arrange a visit. Prior to my visit, I had prepared some questions and sent them to the wastewater treatment plant team. When I arrived there, the operation of the wastewater treatment plant was explained to me first. Unfortunately, I won't be able to visit the Penan myself. But luckily I found a collaboration partner, which was in personal contact with this indigenous tribe from Borneo and has interacted with them on multiple occasions. He was one of the people who was looking for Bruno Manser when he vanished. Additionally, with Frau Suter's help, I was able to get in contact with the sister of Bruno Manser. With the help of these two contacts, I should be able to create a good project.
I'm looking forward to do this project, although it's a difficult task to resolve.
I thought about my project, I envisioned how my project could look like when it is done. I am trying to figure out what I want with my project. These are the questions I asked myself.

- How should the project look like when it is done?
It should be something of value, I want to create something I can be proud of. My goal is to have a project which adds value to the people who will read this. I would like to give something back to this world. I want to be able to introduce the people to the way of living from the Penan.
- What do I want to reach with my project?
I want to teach people, that there is an alternative way of living. A possibility to widen their horizon and rethink if their own way of life and asses if it is the right way to live.
- What could I improve on this world with my project?
In the long run, I would like to improve the overall situation regarding the views on the environment. I would like, that people realize that we just one planet, and we need to be careful on how we treat it. Nothing is unlimited on earth and as long as we don't change anything we won't survive in the long run. I want to reach that goal with portraying the Penan and show that there is an alternative way.
