As there have been some developments with my collaborators, I would like to provide a brief update.
- The meeting with the wastewater treatment team from Rüti went smoothly, and I have an audio recording to transcribe the discussions.
- I have also managed to secure Ms. Alexandra Kappeler as a collaboration partner. She is an expert in wastewater management both domestically and internationally. She is currently in Ethiopia this week, but I will try to contact her next week to finalize the details.
I am happy that this has worked out, as it will give me the opportunity to gain insights into wastewater management practices in another country.
What I have tried so far:

(07.02.2023) The first opportunity to find a collaboration partner was during an organized team meeting with students from India with Mrs. Suter. The students had the opportunity to briefly look at our projects. Unfortunately, nobody was interested in mine. This could be due to the fact that unlike other projects, mine was only described very briefly.More...
A student from Kerala is interested in our project. We have contacted the student, in order to set up a meeting/group call.
Message 1:
Dear Shruthi
Ms. Suter told us that you are interested in our project impact on environment due to conflict. We were wondering why you are interested in this project. We would also like to hear from you in what way you could contribute to our group work in your opinion. Ms. Suter advised for us to set up a group call.
Best,
Marina & Pascal
Message 2:
If you are interested in our work so far, we could give you a guest link to the website.
We made a groupchat with the student Sivani from Kerala and wrote her a message with the informations about our project and suggestions on how we could collaborate. She immediately answered us and now we all can begin with our research!

Since I have not been able to find any collaboration partners so far, I would like to give some thought to who else I could ask for this.
1. In primary school I had a teacher who lived for a few years in south africa and thailand. I could ask him, if he knows anyone who could I ask. Maybe he has also some informations for me.
2. I could ask WWF if they can give me some further information about wastewater treatment in other countries. Especially in eastern or african countries (https://www.wwf.ch/de/ueber-uns/kontaktformular)
3. Another option is Helvtas. They provide humanitarian help in the most poor countries (https://www.helvetas.org/de/schweiz/wer-wir-sind/kontakt)
4. Eawag is a water research institute with international roots. Perhaps they can tell me about the conditions in other countries (https://www.eawag.ch/de/ueber-uns/portraet/auftrag-und-strategie/)
Ideas from the teacher:
1. Alexandra Kappeler 1st degree connection1st
Programme Manager & Deputy Head of Expert Group «Construction»
alexandra.kappeler@gmail.com
2. WASH ExpertWASH Expert
Swiss Humanitarian Aid SHA, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA
3. https://www.eawag.ch/en/department/sandec/
Special Idea:
The company „Vuna“ provides a different method for wastewater. Maybe I can integrate it in my project (https://vuna.ch)
What has been done:
- Purchased green roof material for our miniature green roof (Do-It Migros)
- Contacted Kindergarten
- Contacted ETH student - sadly, he couldn't meet our requirements for our project.
- Set up an interview with an Israeli environment student. He will additionally give us a feedback and constructive critique on our project.
What will be done:
- This Saturday (18.03.2023) we will build the miniature green roof.
- The interview will be conducted via Zoom due to the long distance this Friday (17.03.2023 14.00 CET)
- Set a date for our visit to the Kindergarten to build the miniature green roof with the children
- Summarize the interview, our visit to the Kindergarten and document the growth of our miniature green roof.
- Prepare for the IDAF with German class.
Our project is about a company, which could have a very beneficial effect on our environment with their product. The company is called "climeworks" and is located on the beautiful countryside of the canton Zurich. Their core-product is a machine, which sucks the CO2 out of the air and puts it back into the ground. There, they transform it into green fuel. We are a big supporter of this project und look forward for a collaboration partner.
Here is our script as well as the Timetable of our project.

Before the sports vacations, a short presentation about the projects of us students took place during a Zoom session. Unfortunately, I had decided on a new project shortly before and there was not much to show. I also think that's the reason why I couldn't find any collaboration partners (yet).
I will add a more detailed description in "Mural" in the near future, so that other people can imagine my project better and might want to collaborate with me.
Another option for collaboration may be offered to me by my employer. During the vacations, I was already able to send an email to the wastewater treatment team and expect a response soon. An "extended interview" is still planned. That is, I will not only ask questions but have everything explained to me on a grand scale.
A week later I received an answer. For Andreas Friess, the head of the sewage treatment plant, it's no problem and I should just get in touch. -> But here I first have to consult with Ms Sutter again.
Update 17.03.2023: Today I went to a possible collaboration partner. My primary school teacher lived in Thailand for a few years. Already there, the world of wastewater should look very different. For me it is an optimal solution. I have arranged with him on March 31, so that he can tell me about it. --> Unfortunately he cancelled the appointment
Update 16.04.2023: It was possible for me to win Alexandra Kappeler as a partner. (See also:the-horse.education/post/status-of-team-composition)

Status:
Before the sports vacations we presented our project idea at the Zoom meeting. In the Zoom meeting were our class of BMVZ 22 and a school class from India. During the sports vacations Damian and I were busy elsewhere. We saw only at the end of the vacations that people were interested in our project. They wrote their mail and name in the mural. We plan to contact these people and tell them more about our project. We haven't arranged a meeting yet. We are still discussing how we want to do the experiment(s).

Next Steps:
- Discuss whether collaboration is an option
(- if a collaboration is in question, establish contact)
- Final decision which games to take and how exactly we want to measure/do it
(- explain the further procedure to the collaboration partner)
- Write down and compare our results
- Summarize and document everything
- more to come...
