In the last posts we had some good inputs, which explain how the machine works and what the duty of this machine is. In conclusion the machine transforms ambient air into co 2-filtered air. So the question is: How many kilograms of co2 filtered air does this machine produce per day?
Me and Sascha think that this machine produces 1 kilogram co2-filtered air per day.
To compare, estimates suggest that trees can sequester about 10kg of CO2 per year on average globally.

Janis und ich (Sascha) waren heute sehr fleissig. Wir haben ein Konzept erstellt sowie hochgeladen. Ebenfalls haben wir uns intensiv mit der Funktionsweise des Produktes von Climework beschäftigt. Wir beide sind jetzt in der Lage, diese Maschinen einer Drittperson auf Abruf zu erklären. Auch haben wir ein Schreiben verfasst, welches wir dann an Climeworks senden, in der Hoffnung, dass wir ihre Anlage in Hinwil besuchen dürfen. Unser "The Horse"-Blog haben wir mit verschiedenen, informativen Beiträgen aufgepeppt und schauen nun dem Feedback von Frau Suter gespannt entgegen.

Hello There!
Today, I am going to present you how I imagine a "Direct Air Capture" Machine.
So I think it is a quite big, quadric machine with propellers on its frontshell. These propellers suck in air. Behind the proppelers, there is a filter that seperates the CO2 from the air. The air then gets out of the machine again while the CO2 stays in the filter. In the filter, I imagine, there is some sort of other chemical stuff, which liquidizes the CO2. The liquid CO2 gets then pumped in the ground.
How do you imagine a "Direct Air Capture"-Machine?
