Are you interested in a different way of life?

Would you like to learn something new?
This might be something for you! The way of life from the indigenous people, the Penan, from Borneo. Their way is severely different to what we know. The goal for this project is to show, that there is a different way to live your life and find happiness. We want to show the differences between the two very different cultures and try to figure out what we could change in our lives to life incoherent with nature.
Status:
Unfortunately, there was no one who was interested in a collaboration from India nor Dubai. The collaboration with Rudolf Isenschmied, Cambodia, is still going on. We are still in contact on a regular basis and are waiting until there is a proper window for an interview and the collaboration work. Because Rudolf is still working and is in the jungle (No internet) and additionally, we have a big time difference, there is a minor issue with meeting up for a phone call.
Communication tools:
WhatsApp, Video chat
Next steps:
The interview is almost ready and I'm planing on finishing this task during this coming week. There might will be an option for an interview in person, because he is planing on coming to Switzerland, but for now it is unclear when this is going to happen.
Teams:
Team Schweiz: Yuri Dobler
Team Kambodscha: Rudolf Isenschmied
Questions:
Who are the Penan?
What is their connection to their environment?

Due to the problem of communication with Rudolf (No internet) it's hard to create proper timetable. My work schedule is based on the requierement of publishing the project around the beginning of May. The exact Timetable looks something like this:
14.03.23 - Befterstep 3
04.04.23 - Befterstep 4
18.04.23 - Befterstep 5
09.05.23 - Beftersteps 6&7 --> Latest publication of my project
Additional:
Workload Rudolf: Text regarding personal experience with the Penan
Workload Yuri: Interview, creating the project, organisation, etc.
Goal:
My goal is to bring the way of living from the Penan closer to the people. I want to show what connection these people have with the environment around them and show the differences between the lifestyles we're living.

I thought about my project, I envisioned how my project could look like when it is done. I am trying to figure out what I want with my project. These are the questions I asked myself.
How should the project look like when it is done?
What do I want to reach with my project?
What could I improve on this world with my project?
- How should the project look like when it is done?
It should be something of value, I want to create something I can be proud of. My goal is to have a project which adds value to the people who will read this. I would like to give something back to this world. I want to be able to introduce the people to the way of living from the Penan.
- What do I want to reach with my project?
I want to teach people, that there is an alternative way of living. A possibility to widen their horizon and rethink if their own way of life and asses if it is the right way to live.
- What could I improve on this world with my project?
In the long run, I would like to improve the overall situation regarding the views on the environment. I would like, that people realize that we just one planet, and we need to be careful on how we treat it. Nothing is unlimited on earth and as long as we don't change anything we won't survive in the long run. I want to reach that goal with portraying the Penan and show that there is an alternative way.
I asked ChatGTP what the most important terms regarding the Penan form Borneo are. These words were his awnsers:
Penan tribe
Borneo
Orang Ulu
Nomadic lifestyle
Borneo rainforest
Hunter-gatherer society
Indigenous rights
Penan language
Land rights
Forest conservation
