Finding a collaboration partner

A student from Kerala is interested in our project. We have contacted the student, in order to set up a meeting/group call.

Message 1:

Dear Shruthi
Ms. Suter told us that you are interested in our project impact on environment due to conflict. We were wondering why you are interested in this project. We would also like to hear from you in what way you could contribute to our group work in your opinion. Ms. Suter advised for us to set up a group call.
Best,
Marina & Pascal

Message 2:

If you are interested in our work so far, we could give you a guest link to the website.

Newspaper request - IDAF

For IDAF, we would like to publish our topic in a journal. We had the idea that we would not ask for daily newspapers but rather customer newspapers of wastewater treatment plants, powerhouse or the KEZO.

Here is a template of our Email to the companies:

Peer feedback „glacier melting“ task 23

Dear Tim, Dear Andrin

Below you can find our feedback regarding your project.

1. can i get an impression of the project in a short time?

A little. Getting impressions is still a little difficult at the current state. The group has not come very far yet. However, the group has already made an effort to contact a potential interview partner.

2. Are all steps clearly communicated

Unfortunately, we can not see any described steps. We would like to know what this group has in mind for their project. Tip: If steps are available, please publish them on theHorse.

3. what already looks promising, interesting

The topic is very exciting and I am very interested to read the final product. So far, however, not very much is available. But we hope you make good progress :)

4. what could be added

We would like to see some structure. That would make the overall understanding of this project a lot easier. Until that is in place, it is difficult to provide helpful feedback.

5. In your opinion, where does the project stand on a scale of 1-10?

At this point, the project is still a 5 out of 10 for us. Once a structure or a more detailed plan is in place, the project is easily a 7 or 8 out of 10 for us.

Interview with Ukrainian refugees

This is the Script of our Interview with the Ukrainian refugees regarding our project.

Our goal is to create a realistic insight into the situation in the conflict area. Therefore we chose to Interview the affected people living in Switzerland.

These are our Questions:

For our project, we will interview three Ukrainian refugees. I will introduce them to you now:
The first person is Nastya, she is 30 years old and lives in Wald and works as a waitress and nanny. Mykola is our second interview partner, he is 18 years old, lives in Horgen and goes to school. Marta is the third and last person we plan to interview. Marta is 23 years old, lives in Horgen, and works as a waitress. (Step 2+3)

We'll keep you updated...

Vision & Imagination - Thoughts of my Project

Any thoughts about the project:

  • Does the war have an impact on the environment?
  • How did people live before the war?
  • What is the situation now with water supply, electricity and waste disposal?
  • Can you put the whole thing at different times (before, during, and after the war)?
  • I already have an interview partner
  • Is there any improvement or deterioration since the beginning of the war?

Vision: We would like to provide a realistic insight into the ecological/crisis situation in Ukraine. Therefore the best idea that came to our mind was to ask the people affected. An interview is the best option to reach this goal. We would like to interview several people in order to create a more differentiated insight. (Step 1)

This is our project

Hello & welcome everyone

The current situation in Ukraine is very touching. The war has been going on for about a year now. Aside from the horrors caused by the bombardments, occupation, etc. different environmental problems have developed. We would like to create an insight on these aspects of the war.
