Feedback "Penan from Borneo"

In my opinion...

It is inspiring to see the comparison between us and Penans from Borneo, everything about life, the culture and nature there and Switzerland.

In a short time, I already realized that Yuri has fun with the project and always keeps us up to date.

This can be seen in every post, because every post was written very consider. All steps are documented very carefully, and you always know where you stand.

In my opinion, your goal sounds promising. «The goal for this project is to show, that there is a different way to live your life and find happiness.» As it arouses the interest in reading more.

I don't know what else could be added here, because it is still very early.

From a scale of 1-10 I would give Yuri and his project a 9 so far, so it is very easy to understand, it sounds interesting and exciting and will definitely look in more often.

I hope that the "Penan from Borneo" project will continue to be successful.

ClimeWorks, The Machine and How I Imagine It.

Hello There!

Today, I am going to present you how I imagine a "Direct Air Capture" Machine.

So I think it is a quite big, quadric machine with propellers on its frontshell. These propellers suck in air. Behind the proppelers, there is a filter that seperates the CO2 from the air. The air then gets out of the machine again while the CO2 stays in the filter. In the filter, I imagine, there is some sort of other chemical stuff, which liquidizes the CO2. The liquid CO2 gets then pumped in the ground.

How do you imagine a "Direct Air Capture"-Machine?

If you want to learn more about this mindblowing technique, follow our blog now and support us with a like!

Best Regards, Janis E. + Sascha P.

Feedback for "Wastewater"

Overall, the project's goal and objectives seem well-defined and aligned with promoting public education and awareness of the wastewater treatment process and resource recovery. The approach outlined, including research, site visits, and content creation, appears to be practical. The potential collaborators identified, such as wastewater treatment facilities, industry experts, and local government, are relevant and could provide valuable input and support for the project. A date for the interview has been set.The project has the potential to make a positive impact by raising public awareness of wastewater treatment and resource recovery. With proper planning and execution, the project could educate the community to promote sustainable practices and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Taking all of the above into consideration, we rate this project 8/10. We see great potential and could see this project making an impact.

Feedback for „Fast Fashion“

You did a very good job on the project so far. We like the idea of spreading awareness of fast fashion and pointing out things that are important to avoid. Your vision is clear and we cant wait to see the end result. We appreciate the level of creativity you brought into this project. It‘s clear that you put a lot of thought into how to make it stand out.

We like the idea of collaboration partners from india, since fast fashion is wide spread in that area.

What’s missing is an interview or a call with a collaboration partner, but you guys are definately working on it. Can’t wait to see more!

We rate your project an 8.5 in a scale of 1-10.

Feedback for "Coral Reefs"

Dear "Coral Reefs" group

Your project concept is a commendable initiative that aims to explore the current state of coral reefs and raise awareness about their preservation. Your well-thought-out questions cover a range of important topics, and your potential collaboration with a scuba diver in Indonesia is an excellent idea.

One suggestion would be to write down what you want to ask the students of Dubai or what you want to do with them.

Overall, your project shows promise and has the potential to make a positive impact. We think on a scale from 1-10 you are at a 7.5.

Hey Guys!

Overall you did a great project so far and I'm sure you're on the right path for success!
Here are some points I noticed:

-It's good to see, that you're up to standards with your project.
-The regular status updates are interesting and done in a good quality.
-The ad-post you guys did well done!
-It's cool to see that you found a topic you enjoy and feel connected to.

The only thing I could think of what you could add would maybe be a quick summary of what you guys are planing on doing. Like maybe if you could do a self experiment or something similar.

I would rate your project a solid 8/10.

Peer feedback „Impact trough conflicts“

Can I get an impression of the project in a short time?

—> Yes, I think so. In my opinion, it is an important topic that is not widely discussed in the media. Everyone only talks about the war, but no one talks about the environmental aspect. I think it's great that you have chosen a topic that is not relevant to society.

Are all steps clearly communicated?

—> If I understand it correctly, the main focus is on interviewing people from Ukraine. Besides, they are not experts, but people who are engaged in completely different activities. Is that the intention? I have seen the planned questions for the interviews and the majority of them are good. I cannot decide whether the introduction questions are really necessary. I think I would have left them out.

What already looks promising, interesting

—> You have certainly made a very good choice with this theme. I think it's great that you have several people for an interview and not just one. It gives a broader and better picture.

What could be added?

—> Perhaps you could add some more questions to the interview. That's all I have to criticise.

In my opionion, where does the project stand on a scale of 1 - 10?

—> I think you are on the right track. Keep it up and it will be very good. I give you a fair 7.5/10

Status update for our project - Coral reefs

Status:

We got in contact with Sivani Kerala, a student from India and asked if she knew someone she can interview regarding our project. She is currently looking for someone and collecting some questions. We have trouble facetiming her because of our different schedules.

We also contacted the diver from Indonesia. We tried calling him but had problems with the internet connection. As to why we then texted him the questions and are hoping for a response.

Next Steps:

  • Get in contact with our Dubai collaborations
  • Write to our diver to get some answers
  • Contact Sivani to see if she made some process

Feedback, Green roofs

Overall, the text gives a clear overview of the progress made and future plans for the green roof project. It's great to see that the team has already taken action by purchasing the green roof material, contacting potential collaborators and arranging interviews. Using specific dates and times adds a sense of urgency and organization to the project plan.

The team's vision and imagination for the green roof project is well articulated and emphasizes the importance of education and awareness for young children. Also commendable is that the team attempted to compare the growth of a miniature green roof in Switzerland with one in a more exotic setting to demonstrate the influence of environmental factors on plant growth.

One suggestion would be to include more details about the budget and timeline of the project. It's unclear how much money will be allocated to the project or when the team plans to complete the project.

Overall, the team is off to a great start and appears committed to promoting the use of green roofs in urban areas.

Evaluation: 9/10
